Logos
Logo Designs
These logos represent many style types but in most cases were designed for ease of use on multiple types of media including things like embroidery. In doing logo work I like to think about things like printing costs such as the much higher cost of printing 4-color as opposed to a 2-color print. Another factor I consider is how to make the logo have an iconic thing to it like Apple with the apple or IBM that uses the banded look.
The initial logo was dated and needed a modern take. It's a transparent GIF so the larger version looks odd in a forced dark mode browser.
The biggest requirement was to include some form of grass and after several iterations...
...this logo emerged as the best because it fulfilled the requirements and even gave a nod back to the original design. Additionally, the "e" at the beginning could be separated to make an icon style logo.
Designed a retro looking logo to be put on my own homebrew guitar amplifiers. They are nothing spectacular but it is a fun hobby to do.
The logo was created in Illustrator using a modified vector wing.
One of the iterations of a team logo I designed for our SAFe Agile PI Planning meeting where the whole program got to design logos and names for themselves.
This version was using the modified X to look like a person with an arm raised in victory but ended up more like a person doing a "PICK ME!" wave. lol
Another version of the name design, this time wioth a colorful background.
Kleiman is an excellent company that was formed around the idea that documentation of all types was hopelessly over complicated and could be made much more understandable. Tax law for instance or any of a billion other government documents.
This logo was made to be simple and clear which it is.

I started creating some random skateboard deck graphics for my nephew under the name Jethro as he is a really great longboard skater.
Some wer repurposed vector art that I modified to suit the board shape and others I created from scratch.
Here are a few spider banners created for a conference that the company was presenting at to secure more funding.
Each design was created using high format quality and the fonts outlined for ease of printing.
These are quick examples of business cards that I created using the collateral I created for the applications.
The top one was one of the originals and the bottom was designed when the third application was born. It was created so that it could be used in multiple mediums as needed by anyone on the team.

The linked PowerPoint demonstrates some advanced design techniques in layout and animations used to make presentations much less boring.
